48th Beaux Arts Exhibition

The Beaux Arts Exhibition is here and I'm here to tell you it has some great artwork displaying. I entered three pieces into the show today. The show runs Friday- Sunday with the reception on Sunday the 5th from 2-4pm.

I will be participating in several shows this month. Most of the details are on the site of the Arts & Design Society (ADSO). I will also be attending the Alla Prima painting Workshop this month with Linda Blondheim. It will be the first workshop I've taken in many years. I'm pretty excited about that. It will be useful for my plein-air painting.

This year I am in charge of getting guest speakers for the ADSO monthly Luncheons. In Jan. I was introduced to this talented artist, Alan Lin, from China and also studying and teaching in the U.S. Here is a link to his work, which is worth taking time to view. http://www.xlinart.com/
This month I'l have Dan Murray speaking and demonstrating the art of photographing artwork. So if you have questions about this subject, you might want to attend this months luncheon. Details are on the ADSO site.

This week I entered a painting for the ArtsQuest Poster Contest at the Cultural Arts Association in Walton County. I have been doing a whimsical style of Tiki paintings lately and have been using that theme for the poster competitions. As of yet I haven't had a winning entry, but they are still fun to look at and to create. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this competition. I'm also doing a Billy Bowlegs Poster....so put an eye out....er.... keep an eye out for that painting LOL. I'll have another gallery on my website soon with the Tiki's.

Saturday I am going to be assisting Chuck Porretto at the Art & Frame in Navarre, Florida set up a display of my work. He has graciously made an area in his front lobby for me to exhibit.
So stop in if you are in the area and view some new work and possibly get in on some good deals.
Chuck's information is located on my dealers page at: http://artbybradgreek.com/Dealers.html

I'm also very excited to announce the support of Ron Kensey at Bella Graphics in Sheridan, Wy. with his Fabric panels. He has selected some of my images to create fabric panels for another company that he has partnered with for this project. Here is a link to some of the artists works that he has selected for this project. http://www.belladisplay.com/Pella.html

Well as you can see there is alot going on. So get out there and support the art community and enjoy the world of art.

Thank you, Brad
