Artists of the Emerald Coast Magazine

Hello and welcome,

Well if you haven't seen it yet, It's here! The first edition of the "Artists of the Emerald Coast" magazine is out!
http://artistsoftheusa.com/emcoast/ . I have been helping out the editor, of the magazine, distribute this beautifully designed work of art in itself. I am offering here and now a chance for you to get one of these magazines FREE. They are being located all over the Panhandle of Florida, and I'm willing to send you a copy Free of charge if you would like one. There is also going to be a second edition released after the first of the year, so if you have a business and would like to advertise in this amazing magazine, contact the editor or myself for details. BTW....I'm featured on page 29 with samples of some of my work. GET your copy TODAY!

The holidays are upon us and there is alot going on. To start with there is the Sale-a-bration going on at the Arts & Design Society's Gallery. (ADSO)http://www.artsdesignsociety.com/ . Nov. 16th-Dec.18th. There is a variety of work by many local artists that are all under $200.00. So come out and do some holiday shopping. Also on Dec. 11th the ADSO Christmas Party and Open House with a live auction will be held at the Gallery. Hours are from 1-4pm. Last year I was assisting in the auction and we had a great time.

Currently I have been asked by ADSO to hang some of my originals in the Tax Office in Ft. Walton Beach. So I have 20 pieces lining the walls there and they will be on display for the next several months. So that is a solo show worth looking forward to, even if going to the tax office isn't LOL.

I hung 4 paintings at the Rocky Bayou Country Club (Niceville, FL.) during their Wine tasting event Saturday Night. The work was from plein-air paintings that our group from the Emerald Coast Plein-air Painters Group http://pleinairflorida.org/ecpap.htm did on location at the Country Club. I had one buyer during the event and the responces about our work was incredible.

On Nov. 18th, the Pensacola's "Gallery Night" event will kick off at 5pm. I'll be at the Imago Gallery promoting my Serenity Series as well as handing out the Artist of the Emerald Coast magazine to the patrons. So come out, see some great artwork, meet some great artists in the area and have some fun!

I met a Caricature artist at the Imago Gallery Grand Re-opening on the 28th of Oct.
Brandon Delles is a New Orleans artist that is known for his work in the Jackson Square, New Orleans. He was at the Super Dome during Katrina and has since relocated to the Pensacola area. I've attached his work here that he did of me during that event. I'll be adding a page to my website of his work and contact information to help support his needs during these trying times.

On November 20th (12-5pm) I'll be on location at the Park Place Plaza Open House event, as the featured artist. Bill Gailey of Creative Awards http://www.creativeawards.us/ will be debuting his framing skills and has asked me to showcase his work with my work. I was honored that he appreciates my work to use it as the foundation for his campaign. There will also be a drawing for a framed print of our work at the Open House. Many shops are involved in the plaza with many discounts and giveaways, including Color Reproductions http://artbybradgreek.com/giclee.html where I have all of my work done for the Giclee prints.
So I'll have originals and prints at this affair, I might even do a plein-air painting while I'm there. Park Place Plaza is located on Page Bacon Rd. Next to the Santa Rosa Mall, Mary Esther, Fl.

Btw...The Chair Affair Auction and Gala last Saturday night was awesome! A 70's theme with a DJ, Dance floor and Disco Ball, it sure brought back some memories LOL. Some of the chairs went as high as $3500.00 for this charity event. Hopefully I'll see you there next year.

Thank you again for coming along on my journey, get out there, support your local artists and I'll see you real soon.

Brad
