Meet The Artist

Hello fellow patrons, Welcome to the New Year!

Starting off with the most recent shows first. This Friday afternoon the 26th, I, along with stain-glass artist Wanda Veal http://www.docksideglass.com will be displaying at the Art Shack in Navarre, Fl. Details are on the link in the header. These two images are examples of the style of work I will be displaying. These are plein-air (painting outdoors) paintings where I've been using a looser style of pallet knife, rags and a water spray bottle. So if you are in the area come check us out! Also I would like to announce that you can now take classes at the Art Shack, so look at the class schedule on their website.

The Arts & Design Society (ADSO) http://www.artsdesignsociety.com/ Has several shows coming up and on going now with the show "Color Effects" in their Gallery. Go to their website for the show listings to enter or when to come out to show your support and see the shows. I'm busy working on pieces for these up & coming shows.

Over the past weekend I attended 3 Gallery Receptions, the Artel Gallery http://www.artelgallery.org : a Themed juried show about Illumination, I was showing support as my pieces didn't make it into the show. It is a great show!

The Barbella's Studio & Gallery http://www.barbellasgallery.com , with featured artist Valerie Aune http://www.valerieaune.com/ displaying in the Main room and Hall. Awesome Pensacola artist!! I had to to have one of her prints so I purchased one.

and a Grand-opening of the newest gallery "Gallery 331" (contact info is on my Dealers page of my website at: http://artbybradgreek.com/Dealers.html ). This Gallery has a collection of some of the top artists of the area, a wonderful selection. The Grand-opening was packed with artists and supporters. Several pieces sold and everyone had a great time! Gallery owner, Paulette Morrison, really knows how to put on a show! Also she featured her son Brandon Morrison, an Atlanta artist and musician. You can view his work both from his band "Moresight" http://www.Moresight.net/ with a link to his Myspace site under "IBlet" A sample of his work is on their CD cover. I spent alot of time sharing thoughts with him about the business. His music is also great!

As you can tell, things are going strong and I'm in the midst of it. I appreciate all of your support, Thank You. Brad
